The of Parenting,
All in One Place
12th – 14th March, 2026
The Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC)

There is something quietly magical about walking into a space that was not necessarily designed for you and still feeling completely held by it.
That was the unexpected charm of the Mama and Baby Care Expo.
At first glance, it may seem like an event reserved for mothers and their little ones. But stepping in as an outsider revealed something far more expansive. It was not just an expo, but a thoughtfully curated space where care, knowledge, and community came together effortlessly.
The opening ceremony was led by a distinguished lineup of speakers who set a strong and inspiring tone for the entire expo. Among them were Peter Musyoki, Deputy Country Director at Global Exhibitions Inc, Zahoor Ahmed, Vice President of Strategy & Partnerships at MIE Group, and Edwin Masivo, Country Director at Global Exhibitions Inc, alongside Hon. Esther M. Passaris, Nairobi County Woman Representative, and PS Mary Muthoni from the Ministry of Health. Each brought a unique perspective, collectively emphasizing the importance of maternal and child health, innovation, and community support in today’s world. Guiding the audience seamlessly through these powerful moments were the charismatic MCs, Betty Kyallo and Terry Muikamba, whose energy and presence added warmth, elegance, and a touch of familiarity to the ceremony.

Yes, there were babies, But beyond the adorable chaos, there was clear intention.
The exhibition floor featured a range of brands catering to every stage of early parenthood. From practical baby essentials by Adenzo Comfies and Peekaboo, to the reassuring presence of Luton Hospital, the space balanced accessibility with expertise. Luxury brands like Yallo Leather added a refined touch, while beauty and self-care names such as Dalin, Bossette body works and Nuru Naturals gently reminded attendees that care should extend to mothers too.

Because somewhere between tending to a child and managing daily life, women still deserve to feel like themselves.
The atmosphere itself felt intentional. Purple Hearts, the event’s florist partner, filled the space with blooming arrangements that quite literally brightened the room and the moods within it. It was a soft, visual reminder of the beauty woven into every stage of motherhood.
The layout of the expo reflected the same level of thoughtfulness. The Toto’s Corner, designed as a resting and diaper-changing area, offered a quiet sanctuary for caregivers and infants alike. Nearby, the activities area provided older children with a space to play, giving parents a rare and valuable moment to pause.
Equally impactful were the expert talks, alongside candid sessions from momfluencers who shared their real, unfiltered experiences of motherhood. These conversations felt honest and grounding less about perfection, and more about the lived realities of parenting. Together, they created a space where knowledge met relatability.
Yet what made the experience truly memorable was its balance between learning and leisure.
Argenti, the cocktail partner, ensured guests remained refreshed, adding a light, social element to the day. Infinity Spa offered complimentary massages, while Kanga Studios hosted free yoga sessions, creating moments of calm and restoration within the lively atmosphere. Giveaways sprinkled throughout the event added an extra layer of excitement, rewarding attendees with small but meaningful wins.

More than anything, the expo felt like a family affair.
Not just in the traditional sense, but in the way it brought people together, parents, partners, friends, and even curious visitors. There was a shared sense of connection, a quiet understanding that care is not an individual journey, but a collective one.
That is what made the experience resonate so deeply.
It challenged the idea that parenting spaces are exclusive, instead opening its doors to anyone willing to learn, support, or simply observe. At its core, the Mama and Baby Care Expo was not just about babies; it was about people, community, and the importance of creating spaces that nurture both.
In a fast-moving world, experiences like this offer a necessary pause. A reminder that support can be intentional, and that care, in all its forms, matters.
So next time it comes around, consider this your invitation.
